Tupac Shakur was THE truest soul that has EVER been in the rap game & one of THE truest souls that has EVER graced the entire earth!
As someone that has been a HUUUUUUGE fan of his for years & years, I can honestly say that he has truly "touched my soul" like no other artist.
I "feel" everything he is about, everything he wanted to do, his whole mentality in life in wanting to contribute to society in a real & profound way, & his "dedication" to truth-seeking & truth-presenting!
Raw to the core!
His intelligence was such that he could have been the modern day Malcolm X since he brought the same socio-political knowledge, the same intensity for leadership, & the same "no-nonsense" attitude to defending not only his own rights, but the rights of his people & those he deemed to be the underdogs of society, & standing up AGAINST oppression, this fake & evil system, & injustice!
As he said:"God has cursed me to see the truth & see what life SHOULD be like, so I feel like I'm doing God's work"
Once you're taught about in an academic setting,as Pac's legacy is being discussed & taught in higher education institutions like UC Berkeley & Harvard, you're a cultural icon & a profound
revolutionary legend.
I had the pleasure of taking the very 1st Tupac class offered in UC Berkeley where his work was disected on a socio-political & poetic level.
A phenomenal poet, a kind soul, a dedicated social activist, a major inspiration, the greatest hip hop legend that ever lived,& courageous leader!
